“God is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine.” Eph. 3:20. He not only has the ability to do it, He does it. Paul was on the receiving end of this, so speaks out of personal experience. Probably the rest of us have experienced this as well. I remember when we started to purchase our house. We had a list of things that we wanted in a house. When we found the house we now live in, we were amazed and grateful that all the things we had hoped and prayed for were there, but there were several things that we had not even thought about—vaulted ceilings, fans, two sky lights. Plus we had Christian neighbors next door, people that had prayed specifically that Christians would buy the house and that they would not have a dog or cat. Bingo! We like dogs and cats but have no interest in having either one. God delights in delighting us and we are delighted that He’s delighted.
