Pastor Doug has a knack for getting to the heart of an issue.  He can be blunt.  While sharing a message on John 7:37-38, he was true to form.  Jesus said “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink.  Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him.”  Doug:  “It’s not drip, drip, drip; it’s a river.”   I think we all got the message.  Then he says “Are you a dam blocking the river?”  We got that message, too.  That may have been the shortest application I’ve ever heard.  And one of the best.  Now, if the message is heeded. . .
